i bout a new ram(corsair 8Gb single 2133MHz) but when i installed it the default speen was set to 1333 MHz. i try to set it manualy to 2133MHZ but it didn't work. what's the problem.(My M.O:asus p8H77-v my cpu core i5 3750) tanks
In BIOS, find memory frequency. Might be under an advanced settings tabs of sorts. In memory frequency, change the profile to another option. You may have to use the +/- keys to do this. If that doesn't work, try using the +/- keys on the frequency.
i tried it. i set memory frequency manually to 2133MHz and unfortunately it didn't work. the maximum frequency which i could set was 1600MHz. i enabled "XMP' on motherboard and the memory frequency set to 2000MHz automaticly but after saving and exit the system didn't boot.

When using memory at a data rate not natively supported by the microprocessor you may need to perform additional tweaks to get it to run.
Enabling the XMP profile will automatically configure the memory data rate, timings, and supply voltage. For data dates less than DDR3-2000 this is often all that is needed, but for higher rates such as DDR3-2133 and above you may also need to increase the supply voltage to the memory controller. Try increasing the IMC supply voltage by 0.1 volts.
tanks alot .but i coldn't set the memory speed above 1600MHz at all. for example by selecting the 1800MHz from the menue list after saving and exit the computer couldn't boot at all.

That's pretty odd but not entirely unheard of.
Make sure that you have the latest UEFI firmware installed on your motherboard. Firmware updates often help resolve issues like this.
