Hey Guys!!

I am facing a problem with my New System, which is whenever i play games like SplinterCell Blacklist or Watch Dogs my computer either Restarts or completely Shuts Down.
This happens whenever I play Games in Fullscreen.
But If i Play those games in Windowed mode it Run completely OK for Hours, but whenever I pause and change the settings to FullScreen Mode, within a Minute or so the Computer Restarts or Complete Shuts Down.

My Specs are:

Cpu : AMD FX 8350 with Cooler Master Hyper 212X Air Cooler
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3 with BIOS version FD
GPU : Asus Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 DirectCU II OC 2GB
RAM : Corsair XMS 1333 4GB x2 total 8GB
PSU : Corsair VS650 with 50 AMPS on 12v rail

My Windows Is 7 Ultimate x64 with Latest Nvidia Display Driver 340.52

In game windowed mode the Temp goes upto CPU - 70 to 75C max and GPU - 63 to 65 C
and the VRM Temp goes upto 71C......... All this in Watch Dogs Windowed Mode

Another thing My CPU Vcore is 0.825 to 1.38 of FX 8350
DRAM 1.5

Its your cpu temp thats the problem. Reseat the hyper 101, clean it and the cpu completely with rubbing alcohol and reapply paste.

However I recommend IC diamond and arctic clean for this situation. IC diamond is superior to arctic silver 5(AS5) and doesnt have a cure time of 300 hrs. Arctic clean works better than even 99% alcohol!

Edit: I forgot to link you to a how to video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hNgFNH7zhQ they even show how each method spreads. Go with the dot method, pay attention to the amount used in the video -- more is not better its worse!

I Know for fact is that its not heating problem..... because I ran Prime95 for over 30 mins Plus ..... nothing happens.....

And If i Ran any game windowed the Computer Doesn't Restarts or Shuts Down..... for over hours.

But If I Boot Up PC and Immediately Run A fullscreen Game ... the PC Restarts or ShutsDown within a min, where every temperature is below 60 degrees C

But I will Do the Change of Thermal Paste and Resetting of Cooler heatsink.... the Correct way

OK I'll give you a list of things to try

1. Ensure you bought the AMD version of the Hyper 101, they do not come in a one size fits all, trust me I used one on my dads computer and theyre a hassle to install with that damn crossbar. Theres an amd version and an intel version and they are sold separately.

Go through your computer and ensure you have everything plugged in the right way, ie you do have a CPU(4+4 pin) connector plugged into a pcie 6 pin upside down or the reverse pcie 6 pin upside down into CPU connector socket (these are used as "auxiliary power sockets" up around a cpu and graphics card in addition to board power on OC boards.)

You can ensure you have them plugged right by the clip on the cable lining up with the retention nub on the socket they go into and by checking the label on the connector generally theyre labled. If theyre not labeled you can compare the pins and sockets here http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html

3. If it persists the other possibility is your peak wattage is exceeding your PSUs capability its not a really 650 watt continuous power psu, its a 650w MAXIMUM POWER psu, but with your hardware it should be fine. This is the most probable, but to prove it youd have to get a new PSU go to frys microcenter or whatever computer store that will let you return an open box product without restocking fees buy a 750 watt continuous power psu and use it in your computer see if it works or the problem still happens. (ill give you a list if you go this route, just let me know) . Thats a hassle so do the next thing I list after this.

Completely delete the old graphics driver and reinstall, to do this first go to the nvidia website and download the latest graphics but do not run the installer just have the file folder open ready to initiate it.

Hit the start key and in the windows start menu search bar type dev man then hit enter and device manager will open up go to display adapters right click on graphics card named in there and select uninstall and accept the dialogue boxes to finish that, youre screen will go black and resize to a lower resolution run the nvidia installer and do a clean install, and once youve restarted after doing the install try running a game in full screen.

Edit: The thing is i want you to do these little things first before I have you run out and spend $100 on a new psu. With PCs its best rule things out completely especially when those things can be done free/ultra cheaply before replacing hardware.

If you happen to have a known good high wattage PSU on hand by all means use that to test it

I Put all my Stuff in his Machine Replacing his existing machine.. with my GPU , RAM, CPU, and PSU ... surprisingly everything ran Perfectly...... I even Check Each Components One by One ..... every thing worked Perfectly ......

The Thing is he has an Asus M5A97 r2.0 mobo which is different from mine...... which is GigaByte 990XA-UD3 Ver3.....

Another Thing I noticed this Windows Event Logs After My Computer Restarts :
