SSD Failed SMART Test

I recently went through a lot of issues with my Memory and GPU and, upon discovering that each was defective, had them replaced. When my computer continued suffering issues, I was very upset.

Currently, my computer will randomly hang/freeze whether I am gaming, browsing the internet, or just sitting on the Windows 8 home screen (I know, I know, Windows 8 for a gaming rig is a terrible choice, sue me). It immediately freezes, as though someone had printed the screen and pasted it over my display, and any audio goes dead.

My friend suggested that I run a Seatools SMART check on my drives and, while my HDD passed the test fine, the SSD said it failed.

Could this be the source of my problems and, if so, would I need to replace to SSD? I've read that the test can be faulty on an SSD occasionally, and that this could also be an issue with Windows installation. I was not having this issue before replacing my GPU (running off of the internal graphics card), and there was a windows update upon placing the card and starting up the PC. When restarting from one of the crashes, it worked through a Windows repair.

Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H Motherboard
Intel i7 Ivy Bridge CPU
Samsung SATA6.0 120GB SSD

When the SMART test fails, you're in deep trouble. My old 2TB drive that died and came back to life still passes SMART.

My SSD passes SMART too.

If your warranty is still valid, use it. Backup all data as soon as possible on to any drive that's big enough and replace it.

No way in hell did you have bad RAM a bad GPU and now a bad SSD all in the same build. The odds are higher than winning the lottery. What is the make and model of your power supply? What part of the SMART test failed?
