Hey guys! I'm looking to build a $675-725 computer based around the overclocking ability of the G3258. I know that my budget is unusual, but work with me here lol. So pretty much I am open to ANY suggestions :). I am looking for a good motherboard that won't break the bank and I also need someone to tell me if my PSU is any good! It got good reviews, but is the wattage enough, etc. Thanks so much and I reply quickly so ask me any questions!

My build:

What should I look for in getting a good motherboard for overclocking this CPU? Because I was told that the Z97 and H97 were very good for overclocking this CPU. And is AsRock any good???

THANKS

I think the number of h97 motherboards that can overclock are limited. The overclocking motherboards are usually the z chipsets.

For an overclocking motherboard, it's better to look at the heatsink coverage and the number of chokes there are. More chokes = better overclocks as far as I'm aware. The heatsink coverage on there should cover the VRMs, northbridge, southbridge stuffs and be able to take the heat off them which makes it more stable as far as I'm aware.
