i recently made a gaming pc abput a week ago ( parts list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/pNC8bv ) when first playing Counter-strike GO it was fine, but now it will stutter no matter what graphics settings i have applied and will sometimes shut down randomly. What could be the problem because i am new to this and pretty scared since i just put 550$ into this and i dont want it to break for good

More about : stuttering shutting randomly playing games

If it just shuts down randomly during gameplay, it could be a problematic PSU.

Probably a PSU I have had a few CX PSUs fail in a similar manner, although they lasted longer than a week.

is the stuttering form a damaged cpu or graphic card or is it from the possible psu problems?

The CX only cheaped out on the secondary caps and not the protection circuits. Possible something may have got damaged but unlikely. The stuttering could be caused by the PSU voltage dropping enough power so the gpu throttles, if it drops too much the system will shutdown. Overheating can also cause simliar problems so you may want to try and monitor your cpu and gpu temps to rule that out

You shouldn't have any hardware issues. Even if the CX 500w is a cheaply made unit, you should still have plenty of headroom because you've got a 750Ti. Power and parts shouldn't be an issue. if it was, you could just RMA parts because it should be within warranty.

incase your command "fps_max 300" change it to half like "fps_max 150 " or even 120 , u won't notice any game play change , just less frames generated and gain for PC over all performance.
