Okay so I have a lot of old school video game consoles like the sega genesis and the NES. I only have one tv to play them on so I bought 2 av splitter boxes with 3 yellow, white, red inputs and one output. Will I be able to hook one of these boxes up to my tv and then hook the other box up to the first box? So I would connect two consoles to to of the open inputs on the first box. And then take the output of the second box and hook it up to the third input of the first box. I have tried to do so and it is not working. Can anybody help me? I know this is confusing but thanks!

In theory that should work just fine.
We have daisy chained hdmi matrix switches all over the place at my work.
Console -> switch 1 input, switch 1 output -> switch 2 input, switch 2 output -> TV
Just need to have both switches set to the proper input.,

I found out that the problem was that the audio in the AV splitter was not working because i opened it and it would only play audio when I touched the metal part attached to the end of the composite cable. Well thanks for your help! I'll just buy a new one
