My RAM is clocked weird?

Okay i'm a beginner on the, BIOS field and i don't quite understand why my ram is clocked such an odd number, i've tried changing it to the proper but for some reason i think im doing it wrong cause it doesn't budge. Its Kingston HyperX Beast Series. and its clocked at

that so like 1795.8, i read somewhere it could be my cpu memory multiplier, IDK?

Also, is it possible if someone could help me Overclock my 4770k to stable? i think its running on turbo boost or something right now.

Was sort of guessing a MSI mobo, OK first thing will be to make sure you have the latest BIOS, get that updated, then boot into BIOS and enable XMP and select the 2400 profile 1. If no joy there, let me know and we'll have to set them up manually, MSI isn't very good with BIOS and DRAM, they tend to take their time getting the settings in and updated.

Sorry bout that - had two windows open at once, the GigaBytes latest version is F9 - should be able to confirm by booting into the BIOS, then once in BIOS, go to the advanced/performance area and there should be an option for the memory to set to like default, manual or XMP - select XMP which should give an additional option where you select the freq

That's what i get when i try to install it, i think i'm doing it wrong. Do i need to put it on a disk or what?

EDIT: Not that this matters but, I do a lot of rendering, and multi tasking, will it benefit me to figure this out?
