I have two (2) Western Digital 1 TB drives, one password protected and the other not. Both function normally and at the same time when connected to my desktop running windows 7, but when connected to my laptop (Samsung Ativ Book 9 Plus) Only one is recognized. I checked Disk Management, and both disks are recognized, but the second disk reads "Offline" while mousing over the info bubble yields "The disk is offline because it has a signature collision with another disk that is online".
Other pertinent information might be that one drive is nearly full (about 20 Gb away) and they are both USB 3.0 hard drives.
Thanks for the help in advance! If I can get this to work I can browse some important files and watch the office at the same time!
