After doing a lot of consideration I chose a Corsair H80i. Then right before I buy it, I see a Cooler Master V8 GTS. I look into it and it seems like an extremely decent cooler. So in terms of stable overclocking and temperatures, which would be better for my AMD Athlon II X4 760K?

Main Deciding Factors:
-Which can I overclock higher with?

The Dark Rock Pro and the H80i are pretty similar in terms of performance, so you just need to choose bewteen water or air. And the price difference is also important.

No idea, as I told you, X4 760K with a high end cpu cooler is an odd combination so I don't know how much you would achieve, but it should be fairly high.

Do you have an estimate? A guy at Newegg says I can get 4.6 GHz with the Cooler Master V8 GTS.

Yeah, I'd say 4,6 or 4,8, 5 if you're lucky

So the random person from Newegg replied back. He said that he's never used a Dark Rock Pro 3 but he says that the Cooler Master V8 GTS is far better than the H80i. (He apparently goes on this forum; he says he's Tradesman1)

I wouldn't say the V8 GTS is better. I think the H80i tops it but not by much.

Well, after the outrageously large amount of support saying the V8 GTS is just that much better (Newegg Q&A) I've decided to go for it. I'll let you know how it turns out.
