Currently i have

Intel 2500k (non oc)
P8Z68-V GEN3 Rev 1.
1600 ram
Corsair 600W Psu
Arctic cooler fan on cpu
Coolmaster cm690 case

I brought 2 R9 290's, what do i need to swap out i'm on a tight budget after the cards, my budget is around 200-300£ also i would like custom cooling for the cards

Solution

1, Why do you have a K CPU if you don't OC?
2, you need a powerful PSU, at least about 700-800 watts.
3, You don't need to swap out anything, except maybe a HDD cage for long GPUs.
4, You also need a Crossfire bridge to connect the two cards.
5, If you want custom cooling, it's gonna be expensive... Just remove the GPU fans, install the radiator, the pumps, the tubing, the reservoir (if you have/want one), add the coolant and you're good to go (BTW while you're at it you might as well add liquid cooling to your CPU and OC it).

Hope I helped!

I plan to Oc in the future, but it doesn't seem necessary for anything at the moment.

Any recomendations on a psu, anything i should look out for?

I don't understand your stage 5, could you explain please

Thanks

I would suggest this or look out for PSUs made from XFX, Seasonic, Corsair, EVGA, Antec and other reliable brands.
About the 5, custom LC is kinda expensive. You better cool your CPU before moving on to your GPU. So, if you have the money, get a custom LC set for your CPU and GPU(s).

Hope I helped!

Whats the cheapest way i could cool the gpu, the stock fans are insanely loud.
