So im going to upgrade my PC soon and I was just going to upgrade my CPU first then my video card. But I can only afford 1 right now. My specs:
Radeon 7750 2gb
8gb ddr3 1600mhz
CPU upgrading to i5 4690k
Windows 8
So will the i5 bottleneck my video card

no there will be no bottleneck whatsoever with an i5 4690k. Dont get the "k" version of the chip unless you intend on overclocking or have an overclocking motherboard.

no, seriously, the I5 is one of the best gaming CPUs and you have a low end GPU.

It probably will, but you might want to get a better GPU (R9 270, for example or at least an R7 240/250).

dont ever get a r7 240/250 they cost near a 100$ when you could save up a little more and get a r9 270. r9 270 or r9 280 if you can afford it. that cpu wont bottleneck anything

i can believe it, the 7750 isnt far off in performance from a r9 250, so that would be bad even at minimum. at minimum you want an HD 7870 or what is now the r9 270x.

r9 270 should be a minnimum. a r9 280 is just 50$ more and will offer better performance as it is a 7950.

yea but im saving up for the 280x so I wont have to upgrade for a while. Also is this gaming case good:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?gclid=CjwKEA...

they provide almost no information or pictures. what i look for in a case is:
-window (check)
-space to work in but not too big
-top exhaust (At least as an option)
-lots of holes for managing cables

i can only see so much from the link but it looks decent. still plenty of other decent cases for 50$ or less even. What specifically do you want out of your case? and that looks like it will be large-ish compared to many mid sized towers.

With the i5 4690k, a z97 board and some overclock you probably won't experience any bottleneck in the next years unless you're getting like 4 titan z's.

The R7 250 is basically the same card as the 7750, would be no upgrade at all.

that motherboard is great but if you want that red and black to match you could get the asrock fatality killer.

ya that's a lot nicer. Is it worth it to upgrade from 8 to 16gb of ram or would I not really be able to notice??

if just gaming then no. 16gb is needed for rendering or editing and if you dont know what that is then you dont need it.

P.s when your done select best answer to help other people out with the same problem
