I have a Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P(REV5.0) Micro ATX AM3+ Motherboard & a Asus GeForce GT 630 2GB Video Card. are they comaptiable? why wont the video card fit in any of the pci slots?

Solution
Its still the slot nearest the processor . It is marked "PCIEX16"

its the standard shape and size that accepts a graphics card

There could be a tiny chance you have a graphics card designed to fit in to a much older AGP slot , but Im not even sure they make any AGP cards these days

Lets have a link to your graphics card too .

The mother board specs are :Gigabyte AM3+ AMD DDR3 1333 760G HDMI USB...
The board is black & grey. My Mom gave me the wrong specs. Also there are no metal tags long enough to fit through the mother board on my video card.

HOpe someone can help...
