I wanted to ask if the r9 270 is a good graphics card for gaming. Not really high end gaming just minecraft and maybe like skyrim and stuff. I will probably game only at 1080p.
Thank you

If you're going to be overclocking anyways, get a fx 8320. Overclock that to the 8350 speeds.

PSU wise, get a EVGA 750w supernova NEX over the corsair CSM. More room for overclocking and upgrades in the future if you want to.

Ram wise, I don't see the point in getting 1600 cas 8 over cas 9 for gaming price difference is too much in my opinion. 1866 Mhz CAS 10 is roughly the same as 1600 CAS 9 I believe. It'll do just fine for gaming.

Money saved can get you a better GPU with more vRAM which would help with skyrim mods and even running a better ENB if you're into those.

I selected a smaller monitor but faster response time which would do better for most games anyways.

As for your case, I left it alone, but I thought I should mention...

Ya you shouldn't have issues getting high settings on any game really. seems like an ok build. Some of your items may be a lil too expensive.

Mainly PSU, case, keyboard. But if those are what you want then it would be ok spending a little extra on them.

I like the case. But What PSU and keyboard would you suggest? I personally like the case because of the sound dampening material. Cause i its my first build and I want to make sure its quiet.

As for your case, I left it alone, but I thought I should mention that the define r4 windowed is 20$ cheaper. It's basically the same case but with a window on the side so you can look into it.

Hard drive wise, I'd recommend going with a WD Blue over the Seagate barracuda, but your choice if you want to add that in or not.

For gaming alone, you could jsut scrap the whole AMD option and go with a i5 4460 + H97 motherboard. It's a locked cpu, but has better performance in gaming compared to the fx 8320.
