I want to buy a EVGA 750ti video card for an old Dell Optiplex 980 desktop tower.
The 305w Power supply is a model M177R by DELL
Here is the image of it.

Can someone confirm it will work? I am wondering because I saw saying I needed a 20A 12V rail, but mine is split or something in 15A and 10A. You can also see on the image that It can be combine but Im really not sure. Can someone confirm?

He is correct. The GPU only needs 75W - that's as much as it can draw from the PCIE slot. The recommend 20A is for the entire PC with the 750ti included. While it doesn't explicitly give the combined amps for the +12v rails, the combined load of 240W is 20A. You don't have a ton of headroom on your PSU and it's something you'll want to replace long-term if you're going to do more upgrades, but the 750ti is a good fit for these weak, budget basement PSUs.

It worked indeed :)

Didn't test much but DOTA and Counter-Strike runs without a hitch.

I had to use the second PCI-E slot cause the card wouldn't fit in the primary slot due to the old PS2 port of the motherboard.

But it's all good now.

Thanks for your help again.
