Hi
I'm planning on building a gaming PC. And I was planning on using two monitors: one for gaming and the other just on the desktop. My question is if 2gb is enough for this setup or should i spend more money and get a 3gb or 4gb. The gpu is either a gtx 760, r9 280x, or r9 280.

For (most) currently available games at 1080p, 2GB is enough. A few (Watch Underscore Dogs, Wolfenstein: New Order, etc.) ask for more, however, and since the new consoles provide significantly more memory than the old (16x, in fact) I imagine that these requirements will quickly become the norm. 3GB is good for future-proofing.

2gb will do fine for most 1080p games with dual monitors, some games(Watch_Dogs) are just really bad at handling memory.

But if you're going for enthusiast level hardware, might as well shoot for 3gb models.
