Is it possible to remove the buttons on the razer naga hex? I know many people say isnt the deathadder just a buttonless version but its not. The naga has a nice ring finger rest and I was wondering if it is possible to take out the buttons on the side.

you should have used your original topic here http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2229857/ring-finger-rest.html and modified it to include this question instead of making a new thread about it...

however, i'll answer here...

yes, it is very likely that you can remove the side buttons from the mouse although i'm not quite sure you can do it without making this a permanent change so you had best be sure about it. also, i havent seen a good image of the whole assembly so i cannot say "how" only that it should be possible. i'm not sure if they are sitting on mechanical micro switches or if they use some other mechanism.

this will however leave holes on the side of the mouse. personally i would probably fill them with a compound...

this will however leave holes on the side of the mouse. personally i would probably fill them with a compound (perhaps bondo) and sand them smooth and paint the whole mouse black and have it look almost as if it never had buttons. although i suppose you could just put a piece of something on the inside if that seems a little too hard but it will not be as nice of a fix.

its quite possible to convert your mouse to a buttonless version, but would involve some disassembly on your part and perhaps a little modding/painting to make it look nice.

if you took a few photos of what whole side button assembly looks like when you have the mouse apart i could better say what i would do.
