Hi, I just built my new computer a few days ago, and it works great... without the front case on. So, I tested it out without the front case put on, and pushed the actual button that turns it on, and it worked fine. But when I put the front case on, and pushed the plastic button on the front case, the computer "turned on" for about 5 seconds (case lights, fans, hard drive made startup sounds), and then it just turned back off. So, I went and took the front case back off, and started it up again. It started up, and said the BIOS was corrupted (scared me half to hell, till i realized my motherboard had dual-bios. Thank god for that ) So, it repaired the bios, and booted up normally.
So, this is really confusing me, as the only way that the front case is connected to the rest of it is through 4 metal clips, no cables or wires or even screws...
I'm baffled, so does anyone know what could cause this?
Thanks!
