Will a CX500 power a GTX 770?

Solution

the 770 does not need 42 amps.... unless your taking the whole system in. the 3470 is locked so it wont take any more than 10 amps on the worst day, and a 770 will only take about 25 amps even with a modest overclock. 35 amps is all the op would need. that said, i wouldn't buy a cx500... or a cx600.

I would recommend buying corsair CX 600W it will power up your system surely and it has enough V on 12A rail for 770 (gtx 770 needs 42A while CX offers 46A and it would run with no problem).
