Hi everyone,

Im now in process of building my new gaming pc. I already purchased all the partes and im just waiting for it to be delivered, soo excited

The motherboard I bought is GIGABYTE GA-G1.Sniper Z97 LGA 1150 Intel Z97
And i dont know why i dont feel comfortable with this purchase

Since I am a premier member with newegg, i am planing to return this mobo and get whether asus vii hero or vii Formula the one that will be released tomorrow hopefully.

My system will be focussing on Microsoft Flight Simulator X and BF4 on all ultra settings. Im not planing for pumps water cooling since I already purchased the cpu cooler which is the h100i

What do you guys think?

Solution
It's cheaper, the extra feautres on the formula won't help you much unless you have a lot of m.2 ssd's and the features, like the armour, help you reduce heat but that's only appealing if you want to oveclock highly, the extra price difference is not worth these ' features'

The Vii Hero costs about $200 and the new Vii Formula will cost $370 with Watch Dog game included. I reviewed motherboard's specification, and I found that the new Formula has a lot of new features!

Still confused, I dont really know which one should I pick!

Im actually planing to OC my new i7 4790K to the highest clock speed available and I purchased the Corsair cooler which is the H100i, do you think that would be enough with vii Hero? Especially for future proof?

Im sorry Im not an expert in building the pc things, what is the M power series? Is it available on vii Hero? Or on both?

Another questions, If you were me, and you want to build your best gaming rig, which mobo will you pick?

Well, the VII hero and Formula are part of the ROG series, correct? So the M power series, are these

And if I were you, I'd just go for the Hero, it's good for overclocking and for me, that extra 100 dollars or so is not worth it for me, considering i don't have m.2 ssds etc.

So you mean the M power series will available on both vii Hero and the Formula?
By the way, I don't have Hdd drive, i only have the SSD which is the Samsung Evo series. I will be installing my OS and the games on the SSD drive thats it

No, the m-power z97 is a totally different motherboard, I'm suggesting a entirely new motherboard for you, this motherboard, the m-power z97, is designed for overclockers in mind, so, you should check this motherboard out, it's called the m-power z97, search it on google, or here

Click on this link here :) These motherboards will be good for what you want to do

I got it now, thanks for explaining :)

To be honest i'm not MSI fan, in other word, if i am changing my new gigabyte that I purchased I will go with Asus.

But i am only concerning about whether or not the vii Hero is a future proof like the new Formula or not :(
