A couple years ago I built a pretty nice but basic system:

Kingwin Lazer 1000W Platinum
ASUS P8Z77-V Pro
i5-3570k with a Noctua cooler
Patriot 2x4GB 1600MHz
OCZ 256GB Vertex4
EVGA GTX570HD
and a couple of bluray optical drives that barely get used, all in the Antec Skeleton case.

And as long as I can remember, it's had issues with crashing during gameplay which progressively got worse to the point that it would hang the system immediately upon loading. It's usually a hard enough crash to require a manual reset, but occasionally I would make it to the desktop with the graphics driver recovery popup.

I finally got around to trying to fix it once and for all, did a system wipe, fresh Windows install, new drivers, new BIOS, etc. and the problem persists. So I got ahold of another new PSU (Corsair 750W) and a couple other new GPUs (first a non-PSU powered GT220 and now a R9 280X with fresh drivers), tested them all out (including the GPUs in either PCI slot), and the best I got was about 10-15 mins into gameplay before it went back to immediate crashes. RAM passed mem-check and have tried troubleshooting with one and both sticks.

Was working with EVGA to troubleshoot assuming it was a GPU issue but have since ruled that out, and their best guess is a motherboard issue... but I'm not really sure how to tell if there are any other signs that would point to that before trying to get a replacement. I know there are no overheating issues, idles at low 30s and never gets above low-mid 70s at load.

I'm not sure what else to try troubleshooting or where else to look for help. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it!

You already performed pretty much all a man can do to isolate the issue (tested with several different PSUs, different graphics cards, checked cooling, tested each stick of RAM, tried new BIOS, nev drivers), and the only thing that's still left to try is the another mobo. At this point we need to get the system stable and this is the only major component not yet being replaced.

As you already said, it`s most likely the mobo.
However, you didn`t mention if you did any overclock on your CPU.
Even if you didn`t, can you dial it down a bit and test how it goes?
Try to lower your CPU frequency by about 200-400Mhz and try gaming again.
If you still have these issues, than you are most likely looking at a new mobo.

But until you do that, do you have any friend that can give you his PC so that you can put all your parts on a new mobo and test it?

Try another RAM, I know they passed memtest but it's still worth to check it. Ot it can be mobo issue. Or temperatures.
