when im gaming my graphics card (quadro 570,i know its a work station card im getting an upgrade)it bottle necks with my cpu (e8400 3 ghz).
while my gpu is working 100% my cpu is working at like 50-60 % please help

Solution

The you have no worries, pcie 2.0 at x16 speeds is more than enough bandwidth for any card.

Hell, even if it was x4 a card would still run at 90-95% speed of the same card in a bigger lane.

cheers thanka that answered alot of my questions

Unless your current PSU is total garbage you could save some money here.

Just buy a GTX 750 - your CPU will bottleneck it a little but you will be able to turn the graphics up quite nicely on a lot of games and it's very low power so you probably won't need to upgrade your PSU.

my psu is 375w its dell stock one

The gtx 750 has a tdp of 55 watts

The HD6850 has a tdp of 127 watts

That's pushing it but it could still be enough, depending on what amperage the dell PSU has on the +12v rail (it would be on the sticker on the side of the PSU, my guess is it's around 19a).

Also, I believe the 375w dell doesn't have a 6 pin connector for the graphics card? If it doesn't then I would buy a new PSU before installing a 6850
