Hi friends , I seek ur help to solve a general problem..........

I have dual os on my pc , WindowsXP2 and Windows7 , Today in morning i was using net in WindowsXP when due to power failure for few minutes(my ups battery is dead now) , the PC shut off .
When I restarted it , it shows dual boot menu - now if i select Windows7 it restarts normally , also I can access F8 key options for Win7 by selecting it ; but if i select WindowXP option to boot , it restarts again to boot menu . Also on selectin WinXP i cannot access F8 option to repair it , so i'm not able to log in XP.
How can i solve this problem ???

I ran Defragmentation and Disk check for drive C: (in which XP is installed) from Win7, but it 's not solving the problem.

In Win7 pc works fine , only it'snot able to do anything in XP just after selecting from boot menu? Help??

Run a Repair setup on the XP side from the XP setup disk, although with a dual boot that may be tricky as it may try to repair the Windows 7 setup. I don't think I have ever tried a Repair on a dual boot system, can't tell you what it will look like or try to do.
