Hi ,
I want to plug GTX 780 and HD 6870 same time in mac pro .
But I have a question
which card do I have to plug the monitor cable into ?
or both are ok ?
if I want to play game or use professional software
the performance is GTX 780 + HD 6870 ?
Thanks so much

No you can't use them at once, because:
1. I think Mac's don't even support AMD gpu's.
2. Even if they were, only same brand GPU's can be connected into SLI/Crossfire.
3. Even if they were same brand they also would have to be same model.
4. Even if there were no above restrictions performance wouldn't be GTX 780 + HD6870, scaling depends on programs you are using and can reach from worse performance than single card to almost GTX 780 + HD6870.

Hi .
I tried it yesterday.
I plug the 780 in slot 4 , 6870 in slot 3 , and connected monitor cable.
Any one of the cards is ok to display.
so...the working maybe is ok.

According to the no.4 that Foxcat say....
Does it means maybe the 780+6870 < 780 or 6870 (single) ?

As I said it's not possible to connect these GPUs (the way you have plugged them make them work independent). But if it was possible, then yes in some (rare) cases single 780 would be better than 780 + 6870.
