When ever I'm playing a game and I turn my graphics up it'll crash, when it's set to lowest and I'd play Dayz for example. the game is less likely to crash they say that it might be the power supply.
I currently use this power supply (JSP-Tech EZCool JSP-450P08N ATX PSU 450W).

I used this program to see how much power my PC requires, GTX 660 says atleast 450w, but this side when included that I'm running a gtx 660 says minimum requirement is:
"Minimum PSU Wattage: 288 W
"Recommended PSU Wattage: 338 W

Sometimes the PC freezes, then returns to normal, other times it restarts. Simply loading Dayz up when the settings have set prior to high it would restart the pc.

Is it a power shortage issue because minimum 450w for the GPU and ++ because of the other components such as graphics card, ram, CPU etc ? If I recall correctly I never used to have this issue. perhaps it's because I included a second stick of ram. I'm going to clean out the PC, format and perform a clean install of windows on a hard drive and see if I still have this issue. But I guess it is the PSU.. which is sad as I don't want to dish out money for a new unit. Thanks for the ascension.

yeh defiantly a psu problem there. EZcool power supplys are garbage. i dont even think there 80+ rated! like above get a good 500-550watt psu.
your psu has more than likely started to die on you. A make like that isnt going to last very long

I had the same issue man hindered me for years.
I went through PSU's, processor's, mobo's, graphic cards you name it.

little did i know it was my asus wireless networking card and its compatibility with my ASUS mobo (wttttfff?) just recently discovered that, threw that bitch out and no issues.

Try swapping out every hardware piece with a friends, unless you got some cash to drop on cheap or expensive parts.

oh and your PSU might not be great, but for your parts 400W even if its only pumping out 300W you should be good, but i would be upgrading it regardless.

best of luck
