when i start my laptop it says smart failure detected..........a failure is imminent.
earlier,i noticed that the hard disk got heated up very much and even got slower day by day
and now showing the message.it says f1 to continue but i could not backup because it was so slow that it was barely copying anything to external drive and then did not respond. i turned it off and now after i press f1 it only shows a blank screen with a cursor

Solution
Remove the HDD from the laptop and mount it in an external HDD casing or even better, a HDD dock. Connect that to another PC and try to access it as an external drive. Perform backup of any important files you might want to retrieve from the HDD.
Buy a replacement for the HDD, install it inside the laptop and do a full re-install of the OS.
