So long story short, was looking to swap my rig for an Alienware but this was an Alienware m17x R2 AMD 5870M Crossfire and he wanted £100 on top and I thought I may be able to do a little better. Then somehow we ended up talking about my cooling solution for my R9 290x and I was basically saying how I was happy with how my Corsair H75I giving me 35 Degree at Idle and a max peak of 50 when maxing Watch Dogs out and this was the reply I got....

" Hi mate got your email just read u might think h75 is good but I said it's good enough if u were getting 95 without it there was a big chance u chip might have burned out already the temperatures u quoted with due respect ct vozmight not be correct coz I have h110i right now n had h75i for my gfx which gtx780i with I put a custom loop for my gf n my average on max load is 40 and idle is 29 c 50 still is way to much h75 is for beginner my system all customer water cooled which is far far better than closed loop coolers for cooling if u knw what u r doing "

Lmao, well with my best efforts of decrypting this message basically my R9 290X chip might be fried because it was running at 95 Degree's Celsius at load (which we all know AMD already re-assured this wasn't a problem and doesn't harm the chip). Also If I'm reading between the lines he's implying I don't know what I'm doing because I've chosen to use closed water coolers instead of a custom loop. In my own defence I think I was very wise in my choices because by not having any means of over clocking I chose the most cost effective way of keeping that R9 290x out the throttle zone from heat.
