Hey i read a few ssd treads already but can't really figure this one out, i have built my own pc without using a new hdd so simply half a computer in parts. now my psu got this slots too hdd connectors and such , i bought a ssd evo 250 gb so i could simply transfer all y c drive over too ssd and forget about installing everything, but as i can see i forgot too order with a adapter sata too usb, do i need it or can i use the connector from psu too my old hdd becus its several reserved slots too be used and run from bios with the cd tool from start?

anyway too get around this adapter problem or do i need to wait for the sata adapter?

Best regards

To migrate the hdd contents over to the ssd the ssd has to be bigger. You also need to buy good migration software.

Its easier to just do a windows install on your ssd then use that to copy Users over from the hdd . Then re-format the hdd. Then re-install your apps back onto the hdd then copy Users back over to the hdd.
