I purchased a new System from Best Buy which was a total mistake. This was the first new system I have bought in many years .Don't you get operating system software with a system any more? This system is full of malware and adware to the point it is totally unusable. I need to remove everything on it and start clean. I installed Kasperskys antivirus software and it found 75 threats and removed them but not all the malware and adware, I am told when you buy a new Dell from Best Buy you are stuck with Geek Squad support. I am experienced enough to work on a computer I have the software. Do I need to now go to Microsoft to get operating system software? Is the operating system not included in the cost of the system?

full disclosure: i work at best buy. whenever u buy a computer at retail, best buy walmart etc you do not get restore discs. if you do not make restore discs after first boot and run into issues, you have to contact the manufacturer (in your case dell) to get discs. dell will usually provide them for free if its under warranty. also the geek squad is not your only support option, the dell comes with a 1 year warranty.
