Total newbie here on the matter, went from buying off the-shelf, to almost buying one from these custom-build-sites, from realizing I could get more fancy bits for my rig for a minor price but having to build it myself.
Working on a budget on 950-ish euros but is all going to components, no monitors, mice, speakers or any of that, have already those and some other money of the side in the eventuality of upgrading those also.
Main game I'm playing is sw:tor, with a GTA 4 bought from the steam sale in wait, I also currently have a couple of odd games everynow and then in cod:mw3 multiplayer.
Expectations of my rig would be to get SWTOR on ultra setting while doing " operations " , also more popularly known as " raids " where there's a number of npcs and a number of players ( 8 or 16 ) on the same screen at the same time, all this on reasonable fps also. Not expecting to play crysis 3 of bf 4 on ultra with super fps and resolutions, ofc it would be nice but not necessary.
Bored yet? no? Here's my 8 planned build. of which I ask the community if it will satisfy my expectation, or if something can be changed to meet them.
