I accidentally pulled the plug while my computer was restarting (I don't know at which point exactly).
Now when I start my computer, the fans start up, the DVD drives make sounds and their lights flash a bit, but the screens remain off (in energy saving mode) and there is no startup beeping from the computer. The mouse and keyboard are not lit up either, though they both light up briefly when connecting them to my internal card reader's USB port (not the other USB ports on my computer, though).
How likely is it to be a software issue as opposed to a hardware one? How likely is it to be the hard drive, the video card, the motherboard, the PSU or the CPU? How likely is it to be completely unrelated to pulling the plug?
My OS is Windows 7. And I have Kaspersky and recently did a full system scan (clean).
Thank you!
