Hi everyone. Just assembled my rig. I have also installed windows 8.1 in it. My problem is whenever I turn my computer on, I have a "double post". It will turn on but restarts and will finally boot after the restart. I have read past forums regarding this issue and their solution was to (enable power by PCI-e). Unfortunately that didn't workout for me. Please help. Thank you. :)

This is my rig's specs:
I7-4790k
Z97 Maximus Vii Hero
Gskill trident 2400 16gb

Here's a page from the Asus site that discusses the issue. You've probably already read it, but if not here it is: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?49146-Fake-boot-on-Maximus-VII-Hero!

I haven't had this issue luckily, but I found the two posts from Raja very informative.

I had the same problem, today i updated my motherboard to version 1104 and the problem of in my case triple boot is gone.
just put the file (1104) on a usb stick and use it in bios and update, 5 minutes work ;)
