New GPU question?

So I just got my new EVGA GTX 770 with ACX cooling. I took my Gigabyte card back to the store because it was a bit big and noisy, but mostly just big. I was a bit paranoid when I installed that because I touched the circuit board without wearing anti static protection, a little sensitive I suppose but that was also a reason why I sent it back. I feel like this install didn't go great either. So the card is in, and so far seems to be fine. I'm using the driver Windows has given me currently, will be using the one from the Geforce site in just a moment. Haven't tested games yet. When booting up I'm sure it made an odd whiny noise on the second time, though I'm not sure, I'll get back on that. One thing was that ONE of the cards mounting holes weren't lining up that great and I wondered if it was in place properly. Tried removing it and putting back in but was awkard and I feel like fiddling it about and kind of, shuffling it against the motherboard may have been of damage to it. So ONE of my screws in the mounting holes on the GPU's metal bit isn't that good in place, like it's a bit wonky but with so force it seems to be in securely. I don't feel like the PCI-E plug on the GPU is in place that well, like, it clicked in but it can still move around a bit when unscrewed and can sort of move left and right when pushing on one side of the card. I've tried GPU-Z and so far it seems to be fan speeds at 41% and temps at 35-40 degrees idle. Card seems to be quiet enough when idle, but I need to keep an eye out for noises. Or a ear out even. But so far the software part seems to be fine, haven't seen any weird screen artifacts, it's in full resolution and I get sound from it. You know. Thanks.

It sounds as if your case is warped, or the motherboard was not installed properly. How do the mounting screws for the motherboard line up? If they are out of place, or you had to leave any out I suggest reseating the motherboard and installing all the screws. Those screws are more important than a lot of people realize, since they are actually ground points for the motherboard.
