Depends on your resolutions and amount of monitors. If you're doing 1080p on a single monitor, I'd say 1gb is fine.

2k+ on 1, 2, or 3 monitors? 2gb+ would be optimal.

In either case, the 2gb prevails, unless there's other specs that vary between the two cards.

Skyrim on Ultra used about 1.4 GB of VRAM for me at 1080p. In general, 1GB cards are out of date and will cause you to have to play around with your game settings for most games that you play.

2gb cards are pretty much the standard now anyway, so I suggest at least 2gb if you plan on using anti-alising or any of the high-res mods. What is your budget for a new video card?

my monitor is only 720p 1366x768 so 720p. Is the asus gtx 750 ti or msi gtx 750 ti 2gb card good enough for ultra settings 60fps at 720p resoulution?

Without mods? Yep the 750ti will do fine.

Once you start putting mods in,and i cant see why you wouldnt, the 750ti will feel a squeeze just because its an entry level gaming card.

The least powerful(And in this case;Lease expensive) 3GB AMD card i could find was the r9 280 which is leaps and bounds above the 750Ti,but its also +$50 more.

Before you go spending hundreds on hardware though,we should know the rest of your specs.

It could be a waste if your processor is weak and old.. and its likely that anything better than a 750ti wont work without a new Powersupply if you're using a stock 400watt PSU.
