Dear friends,
I want your expert opinion for building my new pc as i am not sure that my decission regarding building my new pc is correct and hence want suggestion about it.

The Following should help you understand my needs more.

Q1 What is your Budget?
A INR 50,000 which translates roughly 844$

Q2 Can you Stretch/Extend your Budget?
A This is an already "stretched out" budget. But can be spend more 3,000-4,000 INR if necessary.

Q3 What purpose do you seek out of the rig?
A Hardcore Gaming

Q4 What all components do you need?
A CPU, GPU/Graphics Card, PSU, Motherboard, RAM, Cabinet, Hard Drive & a Cooler Fan if necessary.

Q5 Have you ever assembled before?
A No. This is my first and i am a totalnewbie.

Q6 Do you plan to Overclock?
A No

Q7 Do you need an AMD or Nvidia or any other Built?
A Preferrably Nvidia.

Q8 Have you done any research on any component ?
A I think that Intel 3.4 GHz LGA 1150 4670K i5 4th Generation Processor with
ZOTAC NVIDIA GeForce GTX660 2GB 2 GB DDR5 Graphics Card and a 2TB Harddrive is the best combo for me but i think it won't fit my budget, taking in account the price of other components

Q9 Any other thing you would like to say?
A Yes.Please quote the prices from Indian Online Retailer and not from newegg or amazon.com since i won't be importing. Also, Don't suggest components which are not available in India. However, you can enlist those which are going to launch in India in 3-4 months of timespan.
Thanks in advance !

Sorry, but I don't have the local knowledge to go hunting for online parts stores in India. :)

I did give you a set of reasons. Using those, you can select components that are available, post them and we can see if it improves things. Good luck.

Also, I suspect you didn't read these two Tom's post on identifying country-specific requests, since your first post mentions nowhere that you live in India.

No, i do not want to overclock my pc as i have never done it before and read in an article that if it is not done properly it can harm the pc and thus i want to play it safe and not push my computer to its limit....

OK, if you are NOT going to overclock, we can rework your configuration a little. I used the US PCPartPicker site, not sure I got all the unmodified components exactly right, but you can modify it a little. :)

I swapped out your CPU to a non-overclock, slightly newer and slightly faster Haswell Refresh CPU.
I swapped out your motherboard for a cheaper, non-overclock motherboard with a slightly newer chipset.
Tried to keep memory the same. I'd prefer G.Skill, but it's not a big deal and your memory was OK.
Tried to keep the same Cooler Master HAF 912 case.
Kept same hard drive.
Dropped the CPU cooler - the stock cooler may be sufficient and you can always get one later if it isn't.
Changed the PSU to a semi-modular one that allows better cable management and also many here prefer Seasonic over other makes.
Added an optical drive - good for install and if you need to load things from DVDs or CDs.

Now the big deal here is your graphics card. - you have an older card. If you tell me where this build is in your budget, we can bet you the best card for your budget - if need be, we can save a little money by dropping the CPU lower and allocating that money to the GPU - since the GPU is quite important in gaming.

Thank you for your concern Karsten, but i live in India and most of the components you suggested are not available in my country so, it will be a problem. So if you are kind enough of taking the trouble and help me to choose the correct hardware components available in my country, if it is possible for you then i will be very much greatful.... And my budget is around INR 50,000.

The processor Intel i mentioned i.e. 3.4 GHz LGA 1150 4670K i5 4th Generation Processor is the latest version of i5 available in my country. But in the case of motherboard and psu's i shortlisted some of it available and i will ask for your suggestion about it. Asus H87-Pro Motherboard /Asus Z87-A Motherboard /Asus Z87-K Motherboard /ASRock Z87 Killer Motherboard /MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming Motherboard. In the case of PSU : Seasonic S12II 620 Watts / Corsair CS650M 650 Watts PSU.........

OK, If you can, get the i5-4670 (non-K) it is the same speed, but cannot overclock and so is a little bit cheaper.

Get an H87 or H97 chipset - again, the motherboard will be a little cheaper since the Z-series chipsets are for overclocking.

The Seasonic PSU you selected is excellent.

Good luck.
