Hmm, kinda nice balance right now.

What matters to you more - extra details, or smooth gameplay?

The 8320 isn't that much of an upgrade over the 955 (for games, at least). IMO overclock the 955 if you can and get the 280x.

Which motherboard do you have?

Very nice. You should be able to get a nice overclock on that if you have a good CPU cooler. The lowest I'd get is the CM Hyper 212 EVO that should get a mild overclock - I'd go for the Noctua NH-D14 if your budget allows for it, performs just as well as any liquid cooling solutions.

If you have to drop to the r9 280 to get the noctua then do it imo, you have a great board for overclocking

Cooler + OC + new GPU sounds good to me too

Check here: http://www.frostytech.com/top5heatsinks.cfm

Find one of those top 10 in stock and in budget and you're good to go

For the record, the EVO 212 isn't a bad cooler at all - there's just better out there

i ordered the evo 212 for about 36$ ,, i wish it will do the job better than getting the fx 8320
to be work with my r9 270 for now and get the r9 280 at the end of the year
is that a good deal ?
