Hey guys i am new to building a pc and i have been doing quite a lot of research. this is the build i have put together so far. if you could give me any insight as to where i can or should make changes please let me know. the use of this pc is mainly for gaming and or household pc needs. i plan on overclocking once i can afford a nice water cooling system. thank you in advance for any help you can give me. i want to keep my budget as cheap as possible and i also want this system to be something small that i can move around easy. Aesthetics are also a factor but not as important. also on a side note i know the psu is large but i plan on going crossfire in the future.

pretty good build, only i wouldnt go with the A-series cpu as you dont need the intergrated GPU. rather go with an FX-8350 or a core i5. i would personally go with the i5, but if youre a amd fan, go with the fx. both will be much better than the 6800k

Not bad, here's my thoughts though:

I've dropped the A10 in favour of a much stronger CPU, and because this particular CPU isn't overclockable I've also dropped the cooler. But the z97 board will OC if you decide to put a K chip in there at a later date. I also changed to cheaper ram (but same speed and latency)

i cant find a amd micro atx motherboard that will let my use an fx series. i would love to use an fx series however

Pr3di

Well, I would go with an I5 k version from the start, and a good motherboard for overclocking it.
It doesn`t make much sense to get another CPU down the line, as selling a used CPU will be a waste of money.

I would rather drop the SSD for now, because that can be added later with no problems, and have a good configuration from the start.

Also, if you want a SFF, check out the Silverstone SUGO SG10, as it`s smaller than the Prodigy from what I remember, and it`s a pretty resourcefull case.

I just gave him an option to your build, with Pr3di's advice. Not that I support Pr3di, I think your build is much better value for money, but at the end it is his opinion. I swapped it just to limit the budget a bit. But thanks, I've learnt something in the way of PSUs

PSUs are a tricky subject because the manufacturer and the label are often different. Some corsairs are made by seasonic, some by CWT, some by Chicony...

If in doubt, look at this list: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html

You'll see the RMs are tier two class A and the CX are tier three. You may also notice that coolermaster has PSUs in every tier lol

Ha, nice :D

That was left from OPs build, I should have paid more attention lol

Definitely needs to switch to the EVGA B2 750w then - it's made by superflower and is a bargain for the price (although it might be a bit long for that mATX bitfenix case)
