Canon Pixma MG7120 ink doesn't dry

Using a brand new Canon Pixma MG7120 printer, with Canon Glossy 4x6 paper. Ink still smudges weeks later!!! What are the tricks to drying the ink?

Use different paper, or change ink. If you got 3d party ink, that may be the cause of it. You may also be printing on the wrong settings, make sure you select the correct paper type when printing, and that you are using the right side of the paper to print on.
