Do you have an aftermarket cooler fitted or is it the stock cooler?

What is your case like for airflow?

Never heard of an Energon PSU...

what is the GPU temperature? Though my guess is the PSU is your issue. How old is it?

Which MSI mobo is it? Are you using the stock cooler, or something better? Your temps are high; your CPU is probably throttling at that temp. The MSI 970A-G4x series boards have weak VRMs; they could also be throttling, although they're also known to simply croak when overloaded.
"Energon" isn't listed in today's article on PSU makers, which suggests to me it's a cheap generic. It may begin to wander out of spec at 50% of its claimed wattage, which could lead to instability and crashes. You may be pulling 300W out of it under a gaming load, so it could be a part of your problem even more so than the heat.

One case fan? Where? I would suggest whatever else you do, you get at least one more, so you have one drawing air in at the front, and one expelling air at the back - another expelling air from the top of the case would also be a good idea

PSU only has 1 6pin connection according to specs. Are you using a molex to 6pin adapter? also 12 volt rail is only rated for 18 amps. Needs at least 35 amps i believe

Your PSU does not even list basic 80+ certification. That is a nearly automatic red flag in my book for random system stability issues since even so-so PSUs often have at least basic 80+ or even 80+ Bronze certification these days.

Time to buy a decent PSU, then as well as adding some proper case cooling... try the XFX Pro series for example
