So i decided to upgrade my pc exept my processor. which is core 2 duo e4600. I will be using this pc for light gaming.

specs i choosed :

Cooler Master K281 Mid Tower Cabinet
MSI H61M-P20 (G3) Motherboard
Corsair VS450 450 Watt PSU
ZOTAC NVIDIA GT 640 1 GB DDR5
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8 GB ( DDR3 1600/PC3 12800 )
& my old core 2 duo

what i want to know ,
1> can i install my old processor into a new motherboard?
2> will the graphic card work with my old processor?
3> can suggest me a cheap gaming processor.

You won't be able to install your old processor into a new motherboard.

Processor more or less doesn't matter when selecting a graphics card if you leave aside performance.n As long as you can plug the video card into the motherboard and provide it with power it will work.

Need to know your overall budget to make a recommendation on parts.
