This build will be used for most normal tasks, with some 3D and graphics going on, but the overall tone of it will mostly be gaming. Nothing hardcore like Crysis 3 or horribly optimized like watchdogs, though.

I'm tempted to buy some more monitors and run AMD Eyefinity, but I'm not 100% sure if the card can handle it. Then again, like I said, I'm probably not going to be hardcore gaming, just...above average?

Also, it's kind of got a white/red/black theme going on, so I'll probably buy some NZXT Sleeved LED's. I'll also buy an SSD and might upgrade to 16GBRAM, But for the time being, I can do with this.

Also wondering if the board and CPU and decent enough for some slight OC'ing.

Thanks for any replies, suggestions very welcome!

Hi there, i managed to do a build for 1200dollars ( which is 710 pounds) if you want to go with serious gaming i would say AMD is garbage, i made this build http://pcpartpicker.com/user/owismail/saved/#savedbuild_1300918
the same price, BUT :
Better CPU i7 4790k >fx8350
Better GPU : gtx 770 4gb > r9 280x
Better Motherboard : better overclocking, durability.
the only thing, that my build has a 120mm radiator ( corsair h55) but yours have a 240mm radiator (corsair h100i)
but that's not a big deal, but you can add a 35$ dollars and get the h100i

I guess we can't rely on exchange rates to know how much things cost overseas, I just removed the US filter from your amazing build and It drops in at about £920!

Thank you very much for the reply though!

I took a look at the differences between the two cards, and they don't really seem to be that much different. Apart from the 770 having one more GB, but according to the benchmarks of the games I would play, the 770 only seems to inch ahead, but at 7/13FPS at max. And really, for the price, the 280X seems to be better choice for me.

And in the future, I could always buy another XFX and just run it in crossfire.

I'll keep the rest of the build from you, (the cpu, mobo, etc), I'll guess I'll just be changing the GPU, Cooler, and case. Thanks a lot, anyway!
