so I found out that dvi-d does not carry the analog signal needed for vga.
I have my 650 ti hooked up to 2 out of my three vga monitors (one vga on card to vga on monitor, one on a hdmi on the card to vga on the monitor)
if the hdmi to vga works, could I technically go DVI-D -> HDMI -> VGA?
