Bought a SSD. Can I "copy" my OS to the SSD?

Hi,

Just a quick question. Can I somehow copy over my OS from my HDD to my SSD? Maybe it's called something I dno.. Something called OS ghosting, what is that?

They sell cloning software you can google for. Symantec has one. There's a few others that are fairly good. Best thing to do is to install windows on the SSD from scratch along with your drivers and programs/games. It will take some time, but your PC will run faster and more efficiently and then you can plugin the old drive as a slave.

Im having some issues... Im trying to clone my OS with EaseUS Todo Backup with optimize for SSD and "sector by sector", but it says I have insufficent space...

This HDD is 285GB total. I have only used 61GB. My SSD is 111GB total with 63.8GB space left. Why cant I clone my OS, I dont get it...I just want my got damn Windows 8.1 pro and BF4 to my SSD, then im all set... BF4 is done, but help me with the OS plz :(
