GA-Z97-D3H or the GA-Z97-HD3

Solution
For games you need mostly and a good GPU. The CPU is not so important. But the better motherboard is more durable and will allow better overclocking in case you decide you need more CPU power for future games. If you really need a good mobo you should consider GB-Z97X-SLI which supports SLI and allow installing a second gtx 770. Using SLI really would improve framerates. Note that using two power hungry GPUs requires a good powerful power supply unit.

does it also allow good over clocking as well as the ability to use 2 graphics cards at once?

You can use 2 cards, CF... but the 2nd PCIe x16 slot is only 4 lanes bandwidth. That usually means the 2nd card won't perform at full potential. And in my one attempt to CF 2 HD 6850s on a x16, x4 board, it actually dragged down the performance of the 1st card. Plus you'll lose the use of the x1 slots when the other PCIe xc16 slot is populated.

You'll have to read some reviews to find out how WELL it overclocks. I have not used that board, so I can't say.
