Hello! I run a small game development company in rural Alabama, but there's a huge problem: the internet out here sucks. A lot. The only traditional choices are a 4G hotspot through AT&T(only provider in the area, but data caps are low and prices high), satellite(not an option because of ping, bandwidth caps, and high price), T1(inflated price @ $680/mo + 3 year contract, slow), and
dial up(Nope). So my question is, what are my options?

Currently I'm using AT&T and their largest data plan is only 50GB, when I usually use 75GB+, even when being extremely strict with my usage. The cost is around $900 total a month, which is obviously completely insane. One thing to note is that on the corner of my street, AT&T installed a full fiber internet cable box and connected it to the nearest internet relay(about 5 miles) around 8 months ago, but they haven't done anything with it and it seems to be inactive. I've looked into directional Wi-Fi, but the area between my house and the nearest source of internet I can find is thickly wooded and hilly.

Any ideas?

Solution
