i was just wondering if i could use white spirit as thermal paste remover?
will it work as nearly as good as this kits you can buy for 1000000000000000 and never use all of it?

Isopropyl alcohol is the best, make sure you can get 90% or higher.

"short answer Yes but i wouldn't ... ;-) You can probably use it but it will leave a residue , white spirit is often paraffin based and can leave a film on your cpu which wont "damage" it but isnt going to specifically help with your heat transfer from your cpu"
