Setting up SSD + HDD and SSD Gaming Performance

I built a new gaming rig about a week ago and I've been loving it. Back when I bought it I had a budget of $1000 without an SSD although I really wanted one, I got my latest paycheck so I was able to snag a Samsung 840 EVO 250 GB and it's going to be here tomorrow.

My last gaming rig I had an SSD+HDD but I believe I started them both off with a clean wipe on both.

Currently I have a bunch of stuff installed on my HDD that I would prefer not to have to re-install again on the new SSD coming in. Is there a possible way to transfer over the data? I'm going to relocate some of the files though, such as programs and games that don't need to be running on the SSD.

On the topic of gaming, I'm curious about what games run better with an SSD, I hear in general an SSD will boost performance on most games but the only games I know of from experience or friends is League (faster loading screen, nothing important) and DayZ Standalone (faster loading in of objects and rendering the game).

I'm going to be playing other Steam games and other games as well - Rust, CSGO WoW, Wildstar, DayZ Mod. What are your guy's suggestions for what games I should place on the SSD to increase performance? If it's minor and not important like the League loading screen which doesn't matter because you don't load in until everyone else does then I'm curious as to which of these games will not do much on an SSD.

Thanks for any help you guys can provide!

The only utility that will move 'just windows' to an SSD is not free, its $20 with a discount code that you can find online, and is Paragon's Migrate OS to SSD.
