Hey, So right now i have a gaming pc, built myself, i have a radeon HD Ghost 7770, i have ordered my new nvidia GTX 760 2GB, how do i go about switching is it simply taking out my 7770 and puting the 760 in downloading nvidia's driver software and it automatically updating or do i have to do other things?

Regards

Solution
Pretty much, just un-install the amd drivers before you take your old card out.
Remove your amd card and put in the nvidia card.
Then install the nvidia drivers and you should be good to go.

may sound stupid but, unistalling the drivers, do i download an amd program to uninstall them if so where can i get this, and with the nvidia drivers is it again a simple program?

Yep, and the n-vidia drivers will be on the nvidia website.

and i can download a nvidia program to install the drivers?

http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/downloads.html

download ddu, let it do a full amd clean restart uninstall. you can remove the hd7770 first and plug the gtx760 in before you do this if you want… the nvidia card will still output base resolution to the monitor. you should also download the latest nvidia beta drivers from their website into your download folder before you do anything else.

ddu is much better at cleaning out old video drivers than amd/nvidia uninstall options as it seems even amd/nvidia always miss things.
