Do I have a dual-core CPU or a quad-core CPU? (Intel i3 4130)

I built a new PC and it has the Intel i3-4130 @ 3.40GHz 4CPUs according to directx or is it?
On their portal it says it has 2 cores:

On every other site it always says it has 2 cores
I've got a few widgets on my desktop, here's the image:

Even there it shows 4 cores.
So, 4 cores or 2?

It has 2 cores. It shows up as 4 cores on the widget because it has hyperthreading, which allows for two threads per core, instead of one thread per core.

So is that good or bad?
  3. Overall its good, its better than a normal dual core without hyperthreading. Though its not better than a CPU with 4 physical cores. (someone with much more knowledge than me can probably give you a more informative answer though)
  4. It's good. It means you have two virtual cores along with two physical cores. You'll see a performance increase in programs/games that can utilize 4 threads, as compared to a dual core without hyper threading.
