Hello guys,

So I'm buying an i5-4590, so overclock is out of the equation, and I'm thinking of getting a Asrock H97 Pro4(http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H97%20Pro4/) , but this one doesn't have Crossfire support which could be usefull in the future.
Then I saw the Asrock H97M Pro4 (http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H97M%20Pro4/) which has crossfire support but it's a micro-atx and I've never got a micro-atx before, so that's why I would like some advice.

On the paper they look exactly the same, except for the crossfire support. Is there anything to worry about with micro-atx? Do you think it's better to stick to the micro-atx version? Should I consider a different MoBo?

Thanks in advance

Neither board has crossfire support .
CroosfireX is a different technology , that works in a similar way ultimately . Its AMD only , and quite limited because the second slot will only run at x4 . Only useful for low end graphics cards . Even a R7260X would be losing performance as it got choked by the mb .

If you must have crossfire support your only options are Z97 boards , and anything that can actually crossfire can also SLI

Thanks for the answears, I ended up choosing the H97M cause I really don't use any pci slot and for my gaming needs I think it's more profitable to just update the graphic card then get one in crossfire. Currently I have one R9 280x and paired with that processor it should give me pretty good framerates even in BF4!
