I'm new to the site. I apologise if this is in the wrong place or been asked a million times before but....

I'm planning on buying a new video card and I don't know which one to go for. I'll be upgrading from an Asus GTX 670. I have read that the GTX 780ti is pretty good, so I have narrowed it down to these two cards :

does it matter which card I buy?

are they really both the same?

which is the better for "out of the box" performance when gaming?

Ive heard of CPUs bottlenecking performance with good GPUs and Im wondering if mine would
do this?

Ill be using it for gaming , Battlefield 4 / Hardline ... Star Trek online ... DayZ.

I have an i7-3990 CPU... 16 gb ram and im running windows 8.1

Thanks in advance.

Out of the box, the EVGA GTX 780 Ti Superclocked will take the crown. But the EVGA GTX 780 Ti Superclocked ACX is an even better deal. It costs the same as a regular GTX 780 Ti Superclocked but comes with EVGA's trademark ACX cooler and an extra 26MHz on the core clock.

The 2nd link got messed up but im guessing it's This?

If so,they're largely the same thing,a few MHZ differences in clock speeds which you wont notice unless you pay VERY VERY close attention to VERY well scripted benchmarks.

If the EVGA card you're looking at is the same as the one i linked, the ASUS card has a better cooler with heatpipes and all, which will be biggest difference between the two.
